What a fantastic year for films, in 2024! Such amazing films & TV shows came out this year and blew us away with their magic. Also, on the occasion of our favourite film review site, Letterboxd, sharing their 2024 Recap, here we are, sharing ours on the blog!

Anora is a wild, heartfelt ride, and even with its 140-minute runtime, I didn’t want it to end. Sure, it’s not perfect but it’s bold, layered, and absolutely unforgettable. Whether it’s Mikey Madison’s knockout performance, the beautiful visuals, or the soundtrack that still hasn’t left my head, this film is something special.

The Substance was an experience we’re glad we shared. The movie has its flaws, but it left us with a lot to talk about. It’s intense, unsettling, and sometimes ridiculous, but also super memorable. We’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a horror movie with style, substance, and some serious surprises.

The Wild Robot is a beautifully crafted film that’s perfect for all ages. It has just the right mix of adventure, humour, and heart. Plus, the score by Kris Bowers was absolutely stunning and added so much to the emotional moments. It’s a film that will stick with us for a long time, and we think anyone who watches it will feel the same.
RANK 1 : MOVIE OF THE YEAR
Dune Part Two, for us, was the best cinematic experience of the year. With its stunning visuals and stellar performances, it cements Denis Villeneuve's status as one of the premier directors of his generation. As fans of the Dune saga, we were thrilled by this faithful adaptation! This film is nothing short of a cinematic triumph and earns a well-deserved appreciation throughout.
